This is a 2007 portrait of my constant companion. Bailey was confiscated in a cruelty case and was about to be put down in 2003 when we drove 200+ miles to pick him up after adopting him over the phone. He has severe trust issues and I am the only person who can handle him. He trusts me completely. He even lets me dress him in cutesy girly-looking clothes. Actually he loves to dress up and have me take his picture, probably because he gets extra attention when we play dress up and he poses for photos. This is just too cute Renee! Well done for adopting Bailey! It saddens me when I hear cases of cruelty to animals which unfortunately is far too often! We also have a rescue dog and I think cruelty was involved. He hated men and took a long time before my husband could go anywhere near him. Now he loves everyone! v/f
