This is an extreme macro shot of the pretty eyes on a dragonfly. I had no idea how beautiful their eyes are. Dragonflies usually flit around wildly and don't stop long enough for a good look. This one was definitely in the mood to pose for me that day. photograph copyright Renee Trenholm
