Description
Cattleya walkeriana semi-alba 'Carmela' orchid is an easy blooming variety. My plant came from those cheap bagged orchids at Lowe's. They're usually hanging on the side of a plant stands and most are already dead from lack of light and water. This one was $3.00 on clearance sale and it bloomed three times during 2015 with two beautiful flowers each time. The first time it bloomed under fluorescent lights and then I moved it to my bay window where it gets quite a bit of sun in southern exposure. It seems to want to bloom wherever it sits.
