Graced with a quote from Buddha, this candle conveys its special meaning. I found out a few hours ago just how special this candle is. Our dear friends only burn this candle on occasions that they deem to be worthy. They have burned it little by little for more than 20 years. They burned it tonight because we were having a long overdue dinner at their house. We had a lovely evening with good food and good conversation. They let the candle burn all the way down tonight. I feel honored that my husband and I were able to share in it and see the ending of its legacy.
